Listener Creation Guide by NETCA: Oracle Database 19c on Oracle Linux 8

1. Launch Net Configuration Assistant (NETCA):

2. Select “Listener configuration” and click next

3. Select “Add” and click next

4. Enter a descriptive name for your database listener, for example LISTENER_TEST

5. Select “TCP” and click Next

6. You can use the default port 1521 or use a custom one for better security.

7. If you have finished configuring, select “No” and click Next

8. Click Next

9. Click Finish to end.
